The Clean Cooking Innovation Fund (CCIF) has launched its 2025 Uganda Window, inviting applications from local startups, NGOs, and social enterprises working to scale clean cooking technologies. The fund, administered by UNCDF in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, targets projects that deliver measurable health, environmental, and gender equity benefits.
Eligible solutions may include:
- LPG, electric, ethanol, and biomass-efficient stoves
- Mobile-enabled consumer financing models
- Distribution and retail innovations targeting last-mile households
- Public-private partnerships that engage local governments
Funding Ranges: $25,000–$250,000 per project
